RTE set up their new second channel and Karl joined as a producer of this current  affairs programme.  The highlight of this experience was making a film about the Ayatollah Khomeni returning to Tehran following the fall of the Shah of Iran. Karl chronicled the evil deeds of Savak, the Shah’s secret police.  1979
