Made for Channel 4, this is about Brian Friel’s production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters set in a garrison town in Northern  Ireland.  Made during the horrors of the 1981 hunger strikes and the violence that followed the death of Bobby Sands. Starring Stephen  Rae, Seamus Heany, Sorocha  Cusack. 

This 1983 film follows the progress of the Field Day Theatre Company's production of The Three Sisters as it toured around Ireland.
