Ethical Films - Additional Information.

OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS:

To produce AND DISTRIBUTE ethical film, media and broadcasting.

OUR VISION IS:

To succeed in our belief that the world needs an ethical media service.
To believe that there are hundreds of thousands of subscribers who share this vision.
To believe that subscribers will pay a small annual fee to participate.


OUR GIFT WILL BE:

To support those who desire to learn and obtain an education in ethical media production.


OUR STRATEGY IS:

To work in Europe and the USA as a base working  in 3 languages - in English, Spanish and French, concentrating on English in the primary stage.
To build a new distribution market, the purpose of which is to co-fund and fund the work.
To tap into European and British film funding for development and production.
To simultaneously create a USA marketing and co-production strategy.
To confront existing hedonistic self serving distribution outlets
To produce in the first stage 6 films both feature drama and feature documentary. These to me made with new technology. They will be low cost high quality, and would have to be talent/star driven. This is quite possible given two factors. Talent/stars look for good material and many will work for a reasonable fee. Secondly if one is financed then casting directors can get the script to the agent with the knowledge that the project has a green light.

The key to success is to create a new market place, to pre sell these films on DVD or VHS to buyers who believe existing providers in the market place provide unethical and abusive material.

To confront an audience that has lost its confidence in ethical work
To build self confidence in ethical media production, purchasing and distribution. There will 7 focus points at this early stage of our development.

What you will read is a conversation that I had with an American woman, a stranger, whom I asked to give her input on my plans.

HeidiHeitman:  lol...I think so...unless you are a ghost on my screen...lol

Karlfranciswales:  I was on line because I make films and in the most recent script right the heroine is a Christian woman. ?   However Christian FILMS are hard to fund
HeidiHeitman:  oh....what kind of films do you usually make?
Karlfranciswales:  I make feature Indies - independents and some TV
HeidiHeitman:  finding funding for anything now days is hard....not too many people have the extra money to spare

Karlfranciswales:  but this is attitude problems and censorship
HeidiHeitman:  why censorship?
Karlfranciswales:  anti Christian attitudes on the part of the main broadcasters, who see audiences only in terms of sex and violence and spiritually only in new age stuff?
HeidiHeitman:  do you enjoy being a film director and writer?  
Karlfranciswales:  oh yes  … deeply    I love to make as in make a film:  my plan is to pre sell
heidiHeitman:  I don't know much about the film industry
Where do you raise the money then??  
Karlfranciswales:  I have raised 30%
Karlfranciswales:  so
Karlfranciswales:  if I pre sell say 10 video DVD s to say one church
Karlfranciswales:  it will pre sell for say $170
Karlfranciswales:  but the money is paid on delivery of film but the contract is discountable
Karlfranciswales:  so from one church I have in theory $170, from a 1000 ------ $170,000 etc
Karlfranciswales:  I am passionate need now to find Christian salespeople too
Karlfranciswales:  170,000 is not enough, say 3 times that per film although films can be made very cheaply with the new technology and getting good actors is easy because actors love to do good work 
Karlfranciswales:  which gives me roughly $500,000 per film PLUS THE CO FUNDING WHICH I HAVE RAISED.  A MILLION A FILM IS MORE THAN ENOUGH WITH THE NEW TECHNOLOGY AND FOR THAT ONE COULD ATTRACT A GOOD CAST AND CREW.
HeidiHeitman:  ok....I really don't know much about the business.....lol
Karlfranciswales:  so tell me does it make sense to you?

HeidiHeitman:  it does  I work at Barnes and Nobles and I really do believe that people want to see ethical books so why not fill wonderful
HeidiHeitman:  lol; hey have to do some cleaning now before I go to work; how about I talk to my pastor and he is on an ecumenical panel so it could pyramid. Pyramid selling works
